It’s official, Zwei will soon be released as an SSR NIKKE, yet another NPC from The School of Lock Event to make the switch.
Zwei is officially an upcoming SSR NIKKE in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. The news was confirmed on the game’s social media account, meaning Zwei follows in Ein’s footsteps and leaves NPC jail.
Zwei will be an SSR NIKKE and will be a non-limited character. She first made an appearance in Rei’s character story, and is a diligent student, the polar opposite to her classmateEinwho was released in theNIKKE Update on July 25alongside Summer Anis and Helm: Aquamarine.
Zwei also appears in Juvenile Days, the new Event that welcomes Ein as a playable character. Zwei inclusion made it inevitable she would soon jump from NPC to NIKKE.
Zwei is the next new SSR NIKKE
Zwei was one of the main characters of the School of Lock Event in Fall of 2023, and her appearance was a big hit with fans. Zwei’s addition as an SSR NIKKE comes as no surprise, especially with her classmate Ein being recently released.
Although NEXON did not confirm her weapon type,a leakseems to confirm she will be a Shotgun NIKKE. The same video leak also had Elysion as her manufacturer and not Missilis, which would be surprising if true.

Zwei in the School of Lock Event
If you’re a new NIKKE player and missed The School of Lock Event in Fall of 2023, it focused on Marciana, a new teacher looking to ensure a large-scale exam goes smoothly. Marciana would also become a newly released NIKKE as part of the event.
Brief summary of Zwei’s involvement
Zwei is a student at M.M.R. Vocational School and part of the School Circle, who highlights the intense pressure faced by the students during exams. Before the exams, Zwei engages in superstitious rituals, such as insisting that everyone walks on the right side of the hallways, showing her anxiety. During the written exam, she is very nervous even though she prepared well, highlighting the stress the students feel.
Before the practical exam, Zwei tells the Commander (You!) about the tough testing system, where inexperienced commanders test the students, showing the school’s harsh methods.
Zwei and her classmates are happy to have you as their commander, showing their trust and teamwork. During the practical exam, Zwei’s tactical skills help the group succeed. Zwei is also relieved when Tercera, who almost tried to kill herself because of the exam pressure, returns to take the practical, showing the strong bonds among the students.
Overall, Zwei’s actions show the extreme pressure and resilience needed to survive at M.M.R. Vocational School. Her behavior, from following superstitions to working well in a team, shows the students' struggles and their camaraderie.
Compared to Ein she definitely plays things by the book, and while some NIKKE players deemed her a little bratty, the majority were looking forward to Zwei’s addition.
