When does Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) 1.2 come out?
Zenless Zone Zero1.2 will be released onSept. 25, 2024. It’ll be available to play on PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5.
Remember that there will likely be a downtime beforehand to prepare for the latestZZZupdate. To compensate for this wait time, miHoYo typically sends out free rewards via mail.
All Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 new features
Since there’s a lot to unpack withZenless Zone Zero1.2, we’ll break down each category:
ZZZ Version 1.2 Signal Search banners – Upcoming characters and gear
Sons of Calydon leaderCaesar Kingand fellow teammateBurnice Whiteare the two new S Rank characters ofZZZVersion 1.2. Piper Wheel and Luciana De Montefio will join them, bringing the gang together.
Test out the upcomingW-Engines,Tusks of Fury and Flamemaker Shaker, with their builds. Each character and piece of equipment split into two banners, meaning they’ll launch at different times. Here’s what you can expect on launch and the latter half of the update:
There will also be anew S-Rank Bangboo, Red Moccus, a companion perfect for Caeser. Look forward to many more features, including new enemies and Drive Discs.
Version 1.2 quests and area
The Version 1.2 teaser takes us on the road with the Biker Gang, Sons of Calydon. You’ll embark on a thrilling ride with them in thenew Phaethon story, Tour de Inferno. It’s a race to see who’s the strongest inthe Hollows, crowning the winner as the “Overlord of the Old Oil Field.” However, there seems to be something strange at work here when a mysterious enemy threatens the world.
Behind the scenes, there’s also anew Agent Story, A Stroke of Luck. Go out on the town with Burnice to level up her friendship and earn some EXP.
You’ll experience it all in thenew environment, the New Eridu Outer Ring. It looks to be a desert region packed with numerous roadways.

Zenless Zone Zero gameplay updates
Dive into a challengingnew mode with the Hollow Zero: Blitz Withering Garden. No exploration is required here, as it solely focuses on combat. Complete each level to reach the final boss, Nineveh.
But before you go on this venture, you should check out theInvestigator Training Course. The hub allows you to increase your Agent’s levels by providing them with a ton of EXP. However, you must first complete a few objectives through special Combat Lessons.
If you want more games in Godfinger Arcade,ZZZVersion 1.2 expands the collection with theBizarre Brigade. Like the Blitz Withering Garden, you’ll embark on a showdown and summon allies to earn rewards.
A few minor updates also improveZenless Zone Zero’sgeneral gameplay features. Specifically, you’ll be able to play as any Agent outside of combat to explore New Eridu in an entirely new way. Players got a small taste of this experience in theUndercover R&B episode, and now it’ll be further explored in the upcoming patch.
