Tormentors are harder to kill now, and do a lot more damage if you try to take on it one-on-one. So, if you think you can pick Dazzle, bring five couriers, and get an easy shard; think twice.
The Tormentor received two crucial buffs that made it a massive menace in Dota 2. You can’t hang around him, and you will never give him negative armor. Doesn’t matter how many items you have, picks you stack, or bad reviews you leave in Steam.
But you’re not dying because of this. Let’s be honest, even pro players are still falling forTormy’scharms.

1. You underestimate its damage
In Dota 2, Tormentors deal damage depending on how much they’re taking. You want to call as many teammates as possible, but remember you’re also going to be severely hurt. Kill it fast and run away. If you can’t, at least move around when you’re taking it down. You never know how unlucky you are.

This short video will help you better understand how to take the Tormentor down on the most recent patch.
There’s some ways to do it with Slardar too, and also a lot of heroes will be able to solo the second or third Tormentor if they had an easy Dota game and got fed. But these are some of the best examples.
Just be aware, loneliness is Tormentor’s favorite treat. You don’t want to feed the angry box.
