Three months remain until the worldwide launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3–the series’ latest installment. Details have emerged over the last few weeks, indicating what fans can expect when MW3 drops in November, but none have been confirmed. However, the Modern Warfare 3 worldwide reveal event is set for August 06, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. PST (1:30 p.m. EST).
Modern Warfare 3 Reveal Event: All you need to know & how to experience
Call of Duty’s official Twitter account has been teasing the reveal event for the past few weeks, even looping inpopular content creators. The reveal will include details about MW3 and Warzone 2, some of which may have already leaked.
This event is unique because players can experience live while playing Warzone 2.0. To do so, install the latest Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone patch and be ready by 10:30 a.m. PST on August 17.
It’s unclear what gameplay elements will be involved in the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event, but this approach is different for the Call of Duty series.

How to earn in-game rewards during the event
In addition to experiencing the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event, players can earn in-game rewards simultaneously. The tweet above from the Call of Duty Twitter account outlines six unique items you can unlock during the event.

Beyond the event, we recently learned that the new game will feature all 16 classicMW2 (2009) maps. We will have to see what more Activision and Sledgehammer Games have in store during the event tomorrow.
