They’re all worth playing
[Update:Bandai Namco Europe has confirmed to Destructoid that Europe will not be gettingDark Souls Trilogy. A rep stated that “this was a US and Asia announcement only…Dark Soulsfans in Europe can still get their fix on October 19th – with the release ofDark Souls: Remasteredfor the Nintendo Switch console.”]
Straight ‘outta Gamescom, Bandai Namco announced today something we all saw coming eventually: aDark Souls Trilogyset.

Launching for PS4 and Xbox One only it’ll be a three-disc set for $80, launching on October 19 with a steelbook case. In case you were wondering yep, the original will be the newRemasterededition and the other two will include all DLC (three packs forDark Souls 2,two forDark Souls III).All three games are worth playing and this setdoesequal out to the rough MSRP ofRemastered($40),Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin($20) andDark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition($20): so it’s not a bad deal, especially for collectors.
Bandai Namco is claiming that the set will be “limited in numbers” across the Americas which could very well be a pre-order tactic, or a very real statement. If you recall Japan gota really different box set earlier this yearthat was roughly $450.
