Uber Entertainment, the people behindSuper Monday Night Combat, has come out today and announced a new game,Planetary Annihilation, which may or may not see the light of day depending onyou. Yes, you.

Planetary Annihilation, as Uber has put it, is a “next generation real-time strategy game”and a “truly innovative spin on what RTS games can and should be”which has been inspired byTotal Annihilation. The game will have you assembling an empire of robots with the goal being to conquer and/or completelyannihilateyour enemies’ planets – which sounds absolutely amazing.

But again,Planetary Annihilationmay or may not happen depending on you. You see, Uber Entertainment is hoping to get the funding needed to make this game happen throughKickstarter, stating that, “We really really want to make this game for you.” On the Kickstarter page and thegame’s official site, Uber lays out a pretty detailed description of whatPlanetary Annihilationwill contain over on the, which is definitely worth giving a good read.

Also worth a look is a seven minute video onPlanetary Annihilationfurther detailing several aspects of the game; the type of music they plan to use, gameplay, art style and showing us all why Uber Entertainment is the best studio to get this game made.
