PC gamers are getting thebest price treatment, with three authorized digital retailers posting major discounts on Steam version of the game. The best of the bunch is 2game with a 55% discount to $26.99. Second in line is Funstock Digital, which after using a coupon at checkout can get the game down to $27.59 — a full 54% off list. Last in line is actually Green Man Gaming at a “more reasonable” 50% off (yes, the PC game is half off list price at many authorized retailers).
PC Game Deals
Console gamers aren’t completely left out of the loop, and while you’re not going to get some big price cut, there are bonus incentive offers worth considering. Amazon offers the best outright discount to Prime members — $7 off to $53. Alternatively, Best Buy is tossing in a bonus $10 in “My Best Buy Rewards” (GCU members gets another $12 off), while the Microsoft Store is giving out a $10 digital gift card redeemable on Xbox Live.
Mad Max Pre-Order Bonus
If you’re pre-orderingMad Maxon any platform, you’ll also get “The Ripper” DLC pack. It’s essentially a free customizable Magnum Opus car body with a powerful V8 engine (so you’re able to thank the V8 gods some more), upgraded exhaust, off-road tires, a ramming grill, and tuned suspension.
“The Ripper” isn’t as flashy of a pre-order bonus as some other cosmetic stuff we’ve seen through the years — and that sits fine with us as the bulk of the content should remain solely in the base game.
