A lot of bygone genres have been making comebacks in recent years, likeadventure gamesorfighting games, but a particular style of game has not yet made a return to the limelight. In today’s terms, games likeOut of This World,Heart of Darkness, orFlashbackmight be described as combinations of adventure games and puzzle platformers, but even that description is missing something that defines the titles.

Developer PlayWay noticed that games in this style are hard to come by these days, and it intends to change that. The Waytakes players on a journey through space to find a means to bring a loved one back to life. The protagonist has the will; he needs to find the way.
