House of Teslais a static room puzzle game from the creators ofHouse of Da Vinci, Blue Brain Games. Throughout the game, players will explore an intense mystery adventure through haunting yet beautiful locations and peer through the eyes of famous inventor Nikolai Tesla.
Games likeHouse of Teslaare fantastic because they feature incredibly deep puzzles within puzzles that blow out the cobwebs and really get you thinking. Each screen features fantastic artwork that make up the environments you explore. What I love about these titles is how you pick up all manner of items and fill your inventory before finding even a single puzzle you can even contemplate being able to solve.

When is the release date forHouse of Tesla?
House of Telsais slated for a 2024 release. At the time of writing, this indicates that the game will likely launch in Q4 2024 unless it somehow manages to hit a very late Q3 2024. This feels like a decent release window for me, and I’d like to see it come out around the holiday period to give fans of puzzle box games something to dig their teeth into when video game releases slow down a little.
House of Teslagameplay details
The gameplay inHouse of Teslais relatively easy to understand. You step into the shoes of Nikolai Tesla as he explores one of his most ambitious industrial buildings, Wardenclyffe. The idea was for this location to become the city of the future with free wireless electricity for all. The game’s story revolves around uncovering the mysteries of how this place was built, what happened to it, and why Tesla now wanders its skeleton.
As I mentioned, games like this revolve around solving puzzles in a similar way to how you do inLorelei and the Laser Eyes. Some may require items that you may find in another room, or you might need to solve a series of puzzles to reach them. Others will require information that you’ll need to track down and piece together to ultimately form a solution. Every puzzle is mind-bending and can seem frustrating, but the elation you feel when you solve one is akin todoing something like beating a boss inBlack Myth Wukongwith your mind.

One of the key elements of how you’ll interact with the world and puzzles is a device that controls the flow of electricity. I could see this being used to shift currents around before manually adjusting equipment to reach a solution.
WillHouse of Teslabe free to download?
While there’s no price listed onHouse of Tesla‘s Steam page, the game will almost certainly not be free to download. Blue Brain Games’ previous puzzle title,House of Da Vinci, costs £16.99/$19.99, so I’d expectHouse of Teslato be priced similarly.
