Joe Gorgahas weighed on his sisterTeresa Giudice’s potential divorce.
Appearing onGood Day New Yorkon Monday, Gorga, 39, suggested that Teresa, 46, will part ways with her husbandJoe Giudiceif he gets deported.
Joe Giudice, 48, isserving a 41-month prison sentencefor mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud that began in March 2016. HisReal Housewives of New Jerseystar wife served a little over 11 months in prison herself for the same crimes and wasreleasedon Dec. 23, 2015.
In October, an immigration court ruled todeport Joeto hisnative Italyafter his prison sentence. (Even though he has lived in the United States since he was a child, henever obtained American citizenship, and immigrants can be deported if they are convicted of “a crime of moral turpitude” or an “aggravated felony,” according to U.S. law.)
Joe’sappealis pending. And while he was expected to be released on Thursday, it’s unclear whether he willremain behind bars for an “unknown” amount of timeuntil a decision on his deportation is made, asPage Sixreported, or whether he will be released as scheduled, as Gorga now claims.
“He was supposed to get out [March] 14,” Gorga said. “He is getting out, but ICE is picking him up.”
Gorga also said that if Joe does get deported, Teresa and their four daughters won’t be joining him.
“If he goes to Italy, they’re not going,” he said.
As for whether his sister is prepared for a divorce?
“I mean, she has no choice,” Gorga said. “She has to be prepared. What is she going to do?”

Teresa also said that moving to Italy with their four daughters just isn’t in the cards.
“Unless my kids say, ‘Mommy, we want to move to Italy,’ [we] are not going,” she said. “Gia’s going to college next year; I haven’t spoken toMilaniaor Audriana about it, we haven’t gotten there yet; and Gabriella already voiced her opinion to me. She was like, ‘That would be so hard for me, Mommy.’ She doesn’t speak the language. She’s like, ‘That would kill me even more.'”
“It’s like starting a whole new life,” she added. “And they’ve been through so much already.”
The Bravo star has since been spottedwithout her wedding ring. However, her attorney has insisted everything is fine with the Giudices.
“There is no cheating, no divorce,” lawyer James Leonard Jr.told PEOPLElast month. “End of story.”
