Tejo rockets, ability costs receive hefty nerf in VALORANT patch 10.09

Earlier this month, Riot Games announced thelong-awaited nerfs to Tejoafter persistent requests from the player base. “Our goal is to keep Guided Salvo as a potent and reliable space-clearing ability, but we want to increase the commitment so that wasted or poorly informed casts come at a greater cost,” Riot stated.

“This adjustment will give opponents more opportunities to adapt and strategize round-over-round. We believe that such a powerful, map-targeted flush justifies not having a cooldown”. Read more about ithere.

Fans and players have long called for nerfs to Tejo in VALORANT, and Riot Games is finally answering those demands with patch 10.09.

Ultimate

Breach’s Fault Line has AoE reduced

VALORANT devs have also adjusted Breach’s Fault Line stun, reducing its area of effect to make it easier for players to avoid if they’re not directly in the center.

Like to gift? Gifting total increased!

Ever wanted togift more to a friend? Now you can. Starting May 15, the daily gifting limit in VALORANT is increasing from five to ten gifts. On the same day, theGive Back Bundle returns, allowing your generosity to support a good cause.

Swiftplay balancing

Some agents have difficulties reaching their ultimate playing Swiftplay. To make the mode more balanced and fair, some agents will have their ultimate charge rate adjusted.

Bug Fixes in VALORANT patch notes 10.09

Cosmetics

Riot Games is addressing another issue involving the Bolt skins, which currently glow at an excessively bright level. The fix is scheduled for patch 10.11. If you’re photosensitive, you may want to avoid using this skin until then.

Agents

Riot Games will resolve the Omen bug in the next patch, preventing him from using his smoke targeting mode for Dark Cover to let dead allies see through Viper’s Pit and other near-sight effects.
