Spring has sprung in Pokémon GO with the Spring into Spring event.

Spring is in full swing, and that includes Pokémon GO! The Spring into Spring event in Pokémon GO will debut Gossifleur into Pokémon GO, as well as bring some boosted shiny odds and some exciting event bonuses.

The Spring into Spring event runs from Wednesday, April 9, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, Jun 19, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The following bonuses are active during the event.

Gossifleur arrives in Pokémon GO

From the start of the Spring into Spring event, Gossifleur and is Evolution, Eldegoss will be in Pokémon GO for the first time. You can use 50 Gossifleur Candy to evolve Gossifleur into Eldegoss.

Wild Encounters

Wild encounters will operate on a daily rotation during this event. However, three Pokémon will appear in the wild across the entire event.

Remoraid and Fletchling will have increased shiny odds during this event.

Then, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently on these dates.

April 9 at 10:00 a.m. – April 10 at 11:59 p.m. local time

With the hatch candy and hatch distance bonuses, this will be a great chance to hunt some rare shinies from 2 km Eggs and grind Gossifleur candy from 5 km Eggs.
