As playersexploreSkyrim’s open world, they are bound to find themselves face to face with a dragon. SomeSkyrimdragons are fought as part of quests, but others can be encountered unexpectedly.Skyrimdragon fights can lead to some of the most memorable moments in the game, but not always for the reasons one might expect.

Reddit user Mariaeduardabk recently shared a clip of their Dragonbornfighting aSkyrimdragon. The battle is an exciting one, with the dragon slamming into the ground and breathing fire at the Dragonborn, who flees to safety. The player pelts the dragon with arrows from a distance, dwindling their health bar to nothing. The player then sends a final arrow flying, triggering one ofSkyrim’s killcams. But instead of showing a cinematic defeat of the dragon, the killcam shows the heartbreaking death of an innocent rabbit that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and was unfortunately hit by the arrow.
Skyrimkillcams are meant to give some extra excitement to battles in the game. Typically, they show flashy and devastating killing blows, but sometimes they result in unexpected moments, as is the case here. Other times the killcam doesn’t work as intended, like in one instance where theSkyrimkillcam made it seem like the player was going to kill a spider, only for the enemy to slide out of the way at the last second.

Killcams in Bethesda gameshave proven to be rather divisive. There are those who enjoy them, but others don’t like how they wrestle control away from the player in the middle of a fight. Some were happy to seeStarfieldditch killcams, while others have expressed their disappointment that Bethesda’s open world sci-fi RPG didn’t carry the feature over from theElder ScrollsandFalloutgames.
