Sony is holding a beta soon
Sony is working on the next PlayStation 4 system software update, and if you’d like to get in on it early, there’s a chance to do so — sign-ups for the 4.0 beta areover here(European PSN users,click here).
It’s unclear what the firmware update will include, but we’ll find out in “early August.” Recently, Sony rolled out Remote Play for PC and Mac, and the ability to “appear offline” to your friends on PS4.
The last time I covered one of these betas, I said the only feature I truly wanted was the ability to change my PlayStation Network ID. That’s still the case today. I hope I don’t have to take it to my grave.
