It is still unknown when players will be able to get their hands on AEW’s debut game,AEW Fight Forever, but a potential leak of some of the game’s achievements and trophies may provide some insight into what is awaiting players upon its eventual release. It is already known the game will feature a variety of modes, match-types, character creation options, and a roster featuring wrestlers likeKenny Omegaand Chris Jericho for players to enjoy at launch. However, the potential list of achievements may give a clearer outline of what the game will entail and features players will need to be mindful of once they can get their hands on it.AEW Fight Foreverwas first announced in November 2020, shortly after AEW celebrated its one-year anniversary for its flagship show,AEW Dynamite. Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Hikaru Shida were the first wrestlers confirmed to be in the game while Omega said the game would be developed by Yukes with the goal of providing an experience hearkening back to arcade-style pro wrestling games such asWWF No Mercy. Since then, it has been confirmed the game will feature a roster of roughly 50 wrestlers at launch, with more to be added post-launch, along with a career mode, mini-games, and popular match types including the Stadium Stampede and Exploding Barbed-Wire Deathmatch.RELATED:AEW Fans Get Disappointing Update on Fight Forever Game Release DateThe potential list of achievements for the game first appeared on Twitter thanks to user Jbarnacles, who uploaded a clip showing some of the achievements posted on theXbox Game Store. Among the list of 37 potential achievements, it seemingly confirms the game will feature a create-an-arena option along with a create-a-wrestler, so players can build their dream venue to wrestle in. One of the modes is also confirmed to be titled “Road to Elite,” though it isn’t clear if this is the name of the career mode or a different mode entirely.

Most of the other achievements seen will be tied to completing gameplay tasks, such as winning select match-types or performing moves a certain number of times. One achievement which could cause some player concern, though, reads “Make a purchase using AEW Cash.” While it is possible this could be hinting at the inclusion of microtransactions in the game, it is also possible this is strictly an in-game currency with no actual monetary value akin to those inWWE 2K23’s MyFaction mode.

As of this writing,AEW Fight Foreverstill no release date and there have even been some conflicting statements about its current state from Yukes and AEW’s Tony Khan along with a strangelegal situation between AEW and GCW. That said, some players could argue the appearance of this potential achievement list is hinting the game’s release may not be as far off as others may fear. It remains to be seen if this will be the case or if the leak turns out to be nothing more than hot air.

AEW Fight Foreveris currently in development for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
