Rocket Raccoon and She-Hulk will be joining the roster ofMARVEL Cosmic Invasionwhen it launches later this year. Their inclusion brings the total number of revealed characters to nine, with six left to be revealed. The game is currently slated for a 2025 release.

From the brief gameplay shown, She-Hulk appears to do a lot of smashing, and Rocket Raccoon appears to do a lot of shooting. The game is amash-up of classic beat ‘em up gameplayfor modern consoles. It is being made by Dotemu andTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revengedeveloper Tribute Games. The game featuresdrop-in/drop-out co-op gameplay, with players able to grab a friend or go at it alone, to fight Annihilus and his army across the galaxy to prevent the deadly Annihilation Wave.
The rest of theconfirmed roster so faris: Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, Venom, Nova, and Phyla-Vell. Players will be able to choose two heroes for each level and switch between them with a mechanic called the Cosmic Swap.

It’s A Great Roster
Rocket Raccoon and She-Hulk are not quite as well-known as Spider-Man, Storm, or Venom, despite their presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sotheir inclusion is a welcome one. The roster seems to be aiming for mostly well-known heroes, with a few more obscure picks, like Nova and Phyla-Vell, which is similar to the way theMarvel Rivalsrosteris shaking out.
