Both indies and big productions took home trophies today
The winners for the 2022 BAFTA Games Awards have been announced, and Housemarque’sReturnaltook home the top prize. Alongside the PlayStation 5 exclusive, several other stars of 2021 added more trophies to their collection tonight.
Returnalleads the pack with wins in Best Game, Best Music, Audio Achievement, and Performer in a Leading Role for Jane Perry.It Takes TwoandRatchet & Clank: Rift Aparttook home two BAFTAs apiece.Unpackingalso took home two, thanks to the publicly voted EE Game of the Year award.

The indies made a strong showing tonight, though.Chicory: A Colorful Tale,Inscryption,Before Your Eyes,TOEM,Unpacking, andThe Artful Escapeall won awards. AndNo Man’s Skyreceived recognition for its continuous growth, winning the Evolving Game category.
