What’s different in the Lite version?
PUBG Mobile was released back in March 2018 for Android and iOS. The game was a toned-down version of the main battle royale title on PC and consoles. Thus, the system requirements and the size of the game are both very high.
Thus, Tencent decided to release a Lite version for players who might not have a very good smartphone. The game requires just 1 GB RAM to run smoothly.
Being a lighter version, it has smaller and different maps which hold only 60 players. Matches are also much shorter and last just 10 minutes.
