We know of at least one high-profile release that’ll show up:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. A tweet last monthconfirmeda Collector’s Edition reveal at LRG3.

I feel like some of you will tune in just forTMNT, but that’s just one of many games. There’s plenty of room for other limited editions, and it’s been great to see Limited Run (and other folks doing similar work) on the rise in spite of industry trends. As we’ve seen, there’s still plenty of demand for physical releases — especially when they’re done right.

For those of you in North Carolina (or anyone willing to travel for the sake of hard-to-find video games), Limited Run recently opened its first retail store in Cary, as pictured above. I haven’t been! But have you ever had that dream where you’ve somehow stumbled upon the motherload — rare games as far as the eye can see — and then you wake up?

With new showcasesfilling out the rest of June, LRG3 won’t be everyone’s top priority, but it’s bound to be a fun one for collectors. Let’s all try to stay on budget, shall we?
