Two-time Dota 2 TI champion OG Esports has ventured into mobile esports by joining Honor of Kings, marking a new chapter for the organization.
Two-time Dota 2 The International (TI) champion OG Esports has made a surprising announcement regarding their entry into Honor of Kings. The announcement was made on March 1 through a teaser video shared on the organization’s official platforms, marking the first time this European esports organization has ventured into the mobile esports scene.

In addition to the official announcement of their participation in the Honor of Kings esports scene as the partner team representing Western Europe for the Honor of Kings Major West League (KMW), there is still little information regarding the team, including the roster. However, according tothe latest official roster rulebook, OG Esports’s roster must adhere to the following conditions:
The Honor of Kings global esports scene is still relatively new since the game only officially launched globally in June 2024. However, the developers have demonstrated their commitment to developing the global esports scene by recently announcing their2025 esports roadmap, which includes seven regional professional leagues. These leagues are set to begin this Spring and serve as qualifications for the Honor of Kings Esports World Cup (EWC), also abbreviated as KWC, in July 2025.
Last year, the KWC featured an impressive prize pool of $3,000,000, with the Chinese powerhouse KPL Dream Team emerging as the winner. This year, with major organizations striving to accumulate as many club points as possible to win the EWC, the competition is expected to intensify significantly.
Several organizations have also shown their seriousness regarding the Honor of Kings scene, including Team Vitality, which recently revamped their roster to include four Chinese players. Additionally, South Korean organization Gen.G Esports has joined the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) scene after acquiring Team Falcons' roster, signaling their commitment to this burgeoning esport.
