So, three big names from 2024 return. But who are the newcomers? We’ll start with bonkar. He’s a former world champion in Paladins with Ninjas in Pyjamas. The Swedish coach made the move to VALORANT like many others, playing on NIP, Guild Esports, and Tundra Esports.
He’d then go on to be the head coach of Oxygen Esports in the VCT NA Challengers league. Once his time there ended, instead of moving back to EMEA, he kept his talents in Americas by joining up with NRG.

Next, we have mada coming to the NRG 2025 VALORANT roster. He started his VALORANT career with Andbox, moving to Luminosity Gaming, and then Shopify Rebellion. He’d stay put during the MxS partnership of Moist Esports and Shopify, finally making it to the big leagues here.
And lastly comes Verno. Verno is another Tier 2 standout. He joins the NRG 2025 VALORANT roster after a long stint with Oxygen Esports, starting in their Academy team. He and bonkar are definitely familiar with each other, so it should be an easy transition.
