In the originalHades, players would run into special characters that would offer special boons that were different from those offered by the Olympians.Hades 2brings this mechanic back, but greatly increases the number of these encounters for Melinoë to find. One of the most powerful of these characters,Medea, is found on the surface, in the City of Ephyra.
Medea’s boons are calledNightly Curses. The complete list offered to Melinoë is incredibly powerful, with essentially none worthy of not being considered at all. However, given the fact that Medea is encountered early in a surface run, there are several that seem to offer more help against the highest number of enemies. This list will include all 7 of Medea’s Nightly Curses, with the most useful in the number one slot.
Hades 2is currently in Early Access. This means that many aspects of the game are subject to changes before the official 1.0 release. If any of Medea’s Curses are altered, or if any new Curses are introduced, this list will be updated accordingly.
