Wii U is snubbed yet again

2K Sports is still chugging with the successful NBA 2K franchise, and for its next entry, NBA superstar LeBron James will be gracing the cover. The ever polarizing LeBron is pretty much a no-brainer for any cover after legitimizing his career with last year’s playoff win, and it looks like him and the Miami Heat are poised to possibly win another very soon.

As a Laker’s fan (I know, I know) I’m a bit bitter at this year’s NBA season, but hey, Kobe’s been on the cover of NBA games so many times I’ve lost count. The game is set to ship on Jul 23, 2025 with the “King James” pre-order pack on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and later, the Xbox One and PS4. Yep, you read that right, the Wii U version is being completely snubbed by 2K.
