PerDeadline,Guy Burnet and Miriam Silverman have been cast as new charactersinLandmanseason 2. They join Thornton, Elliott, andLandmanseason 1 regulars Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, Paulina Chávez, James Jordan, Colm Feore, Mark Collie, and Demi Moore.
In recurring guest roles, Burnet will play Charlie Newsom, a charming oil and gas engineer, and Silverman will play Greta Stidham, an intimidating university admissions counselor.

Both Characters Will Likely Be Dealing With Different Members Of The Norris Family
Based on their character descriptions, it sounds likeBurnet’s Charlie Newsom and Silverman’s Greta Stidham won’t have much to do with each other. Both, however, will surely be involved with one or more members of the Norris family, but likely for very different reasons.
As an oil and gas engineer,Charlie Newsom will almost certainly be dealing with Tommy and his M-Tex associatesin some capacity. Whether he will be a friend or foe is yet to be determined. On the other hand, Greta Stidham, a no-nonsense college admissions representative, will likely be dealing with Tommy’s daughter, Ainsley (played by Michelle Randolph), a high school student who expressed interest in going to college.
Based on Angela’s track record, there could be some conflict between her and Greta, especially if Greta is putting up barriers for Ainsley to attend her dream college inLandmanseason 2.
Tommy may get involved with Greta during some type of admissions interview or meeting, but it’s far more likely that Ali Larter’s Angela, Ainsley’s mom, will be by her daughter’s side during her college search.
