The Lich King and the rest of the Knights of the Frozen throne set, including every Death Knight will return to Hearthstone standard gameplay for free!
Starting today, players will be able to enjoy one of the most popular Hearthstone expansions, Knights of the Frozen Throne, as part of the Knights of Hallow’s End event. These cards will be available for free until the March of the Lich King expansion launches.
Prepare to delight yourself with some OG Hearthstone characters with the return of the Frozen Throne set, the Lich King and the loyal Arfus. Behold the power of the undead with Deathstalker Rexxar’s army of Zoombeasts. Embrace the Shadows and play Priest without killing your opponent out of boredom with Shadowripper Anduin.

Event System Revamp for Knights of Hallow’s End
On top of this amazing return, Hearthstone is doing a revamp to its Event System starting with Knights of Hallow’s End. Going forward, special events will have a dedicated place in the Hearthstone user interface.
Players will see a modified Journal button whenever an event is active so they to access there all the details and information. Moreover, the Rewards section will get a dedicated space within the Journal as well.
Manathirst, Hearthstone’s new Keyword for March of the Lich King expansion. How does it work?
Before the March of the Lich King expansion arrives, make sure you learn everything about undead and Hearthstone’s new Keyword: Manathirst.
This might not be as exciting as the return of the Lich King, or that Hearthstone is bringing back the Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion for free. However, it’s still nice to see that the devs keep improving the interface to better communicate news to players, something that the game didn’t shine for in the past.
