Some of the best players in the world attend this event, even if they already qualified for Capcom Cup 12 and SF6 Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025). The competition in pools and in the top 48/24 brackets was insane!

Daigo was on top of his pool, but then lost to Kusanagi and Itabashi Zangief. Tokido made it from the pools and eliminated Dual Kevin. Still, he lost to kingsvega, another Japanese player.

We could see the Japanese players all over the winners side. Psycho was the only one not from that country who won two matches in the brackets — he even defeated gachikun.

Fuudo entered the final brackets via the losers side. With his Ed, he pretty confidentaly defeated Tachikawa and Kusanagi.

To face Kimberly of Psycho, which is a pretty unusual character as for the top-level Street Fighter 6 competition, Fuudo switched from Ed to Dee Jay.

Seeing the Jamaican musician here is also pretty surprising, but eventually Dee Jay turned out to be a better choice against Mai and Chun-Li of moke.

In the grand final, Fuudo abandoned the idea of the Ed mirror match quickly — this character is very common for Japan.

On Dee Jay, Fuudo reset the brackets, even if the fight was extremely close. Then, Fuudo looked somewhat stronger, so he won SF6 Blink Respawn.
