How to find an Encrypted Vault in The First Descendant
There are different types of Encrypted Vaults in The First Descendant. They’re essentially mechanical-looking guared NPC thatchanges appearance based on rarityof the Vault. You’ll notice the higher rarity, and harder to open vaults, have a more epic guard standing about.
To locate these vaults and the awesome guards that appear, follow these steps:
It is important tocheck high and lowfor the Encrypted Vault in The First Descendant. The guard could be anywhere in that area, such as on a cliff, in a cavern, or just tucked into a corner lacking light that makes it hard to find them.

How to open Encrypted Vaults in The First Descendant
Once you finally come to the guard who gives up the Encrypted Vault’s goods in The First Descendant, you have to open it. Interact with the guard to provide a Code Analyzer, which comes in rarities of Ultra Precision, Precision, and just the basic.
So, do the following to initiate a minigame to open the vault:
The higher the tier of the Encrypted Vault in The First Descendant, the faster the needle moves, the smaller the colored zone, and the more times you need to successfully complete it to win the minigame.
Where to get Code Analyzers
Again, there are three kinds of Code Analyzers. The base one, a Precision one, and an Ultra Precision one. It will tell you which one you need to open the Encrypted Vault when you approach it. If you do and notice you don’t have one available, here’show you may obtain them:
If you do obtain one in-game, you cango to your Consumable section. Find it and open the Acquisition Info. This will tell you all of the missions where enemies may potentially drop that specific type of Code Analyzer.
