Hellboy: The Crooked ManAdds Two More to Its Supernatural Cast

After breaking the tidings earlier in the week thatJack Kesywas the new Hellboy for the upcoming film rebootThe Crooked Man , Millennium Media has reassert the increase of two more actor to the cast . Co - starring in the flick alongside Kesy will be Jefferson White and Adeline Rudolph .

White , currently see in Yellowstone , will be play the role of Tom Ferrell . In the cartoon strip the Crooked Man film is based on , Tom serve well as Hellboy ’s human comrade during the titulary demon ’s journey in 1950s rural Appalachia . Meanwhile Rudolph , who previously star in Netflix ’s Resident Evil and Riverdale , will portray Bobbie Jo Song , a character who does n’t seem to have been in the comics right .

Directed by Crank ’s Brian Taylor , The Crooked Man will adapt the 2008 comic book arc of the same name by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and Richard Corben . This ’ll be the first film in the serial publication to be write by Mignola , along with frequent Hellboy quisling Christopher Golden . Per the logline , Hellboy and Tom will discover a little biotic community terrify by a witch coven , and the enchantress are led by the titular Crooked Man , who has supposed ties to Hellboy ’s hellish past tense .

In February shortly after the picture show ’s announcement , Taylor sing about wanting to charm the “ thin and mean , creepy-crawly folk repugnance vibration ” of the original comics . “ The appeal of this one to me , is to go back to that and do a tangible reset , and really give us that version of Hellboy , which I just do n’t think we ’ve seen yet , ” he say . “ This material , this original material is gloomy and shuddery and violent and grownup . So for really embrace that , we just do n’t wanna have any handcuffs on . ”
