It amazes me that there are programming directors out there who would greenlight a series starring David Cross. That takes balls thatclang. And, yet, here we are.
The Destructoid editors played videogames this week. I bet you did also. We’ve written out the games we played in a list with our tappy-tappy boards and published it below. You should do the same.

Bennett, C.:Firing up a bit ofSpace Invaders Infinity Genefor review, working throughPixelJunk Monsters Deluxein tiny bits, revisitingPersona 3 Portableso I can date new hotties, and nosing around in theDeathSpankdemo.
Chester:Finishing upEnslaved, I plan on going back and trying outHeavenly Swordbefore I chat with some folks from Ninja Theory later this week. Also will be checking outDef Jam Vendetta, starting the upcomingBorderlandsdownloadable content “Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution,” and… I think that’s about it for me this week!

Ross:FinishedProfessor Layton and the Unwound Futurelast night, so I can have the review out by Monday. Also been playing a boatload ofCivilization V, as well asValkyria Chronicles II.
Sterling:I’m preparing forEnslavedto arrive any day, and wondering if I might not go back and replayHeavenly Swordtoo. I loved the story but the combat felt a bit limp and the Sixaxis stuff was horrible, from what I remember.

Anyway, I am almost done with theFallout 3DLC and have been having a rare old time with the game. The Pitt, despite its tendency to glitch like crazy, has an amazing storyline and some really conflicting characters. I love how it takes the generally established faction dynamic of previous games and turns it on its heads. I’ll be sad to be done withFallout 3, but I may go through it again on a Bad Karma run, and then it’ll beNew Vegastime, so that’d be excellent!
Also playedSpider-Man: Shattered Dimensionsfor a bit. I appreciate what they were going for and how they tried to copy Arkham Asylum with the Noir levels, but meh. It’s a big dull to me, really. A noble effort, but a bit of a boring experience, gameplay wise.

Carey:Can’t talk.Civilization V. I hate barbarians.
Bennett, H.:I am with the lovely Jim Sterling, as I am also eagerly awaiting the arrival ofEnslaved. In the meantime I am getting some well deserved time with DLC for bothMass Effect 2andDragon Age.
Had fun with theDragon AgeDLC, slightly short but not bad, I’m in love with the game so fresh content is always pleasant. As forMass Effect, Overlord has been good so far but sadly it contains the one thing I hated inMass Effectgames: flying or driving missions! Still have yet to play Shadow Broker.

I AM A BIOTIC GOD!
Concelmo:I am replayingFinal Fantasy IXon PSN. MY GOD I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!
Queen Brahne is a bitch.
Zimmerman:Played through the “Minerva’s Den” DLC forBioShock 2and was thoroughly impressed with it. Particularly the end, in which you are encouraged to take your time in reaching the bathysphere. It’s the perfect bookend to the first moments I spent in Rapture at the beginning ofBioShock. Being given that simple instruction to say goodbye to the city (would you kindly) made me slow down, really look at it and be struck by the same sense of awe I had three years ago when I first descended. A brilliantly executed conclusion.
I picked upMonday Night Combatthe other day and I’m abysmal at it. I love it, but I don’t think I’ll last much more than another week before giving up out of frustration with myself. And I’m givingThe Saboteuranother chance but my patience is already wearing thin.

Aziz:Keeping the neighbors up withHalo: Reach
Perlee:Reach,Scott Pilgrim, and nothing else because I am grumpy.
