FaZe Clan takes down NA number one Gen.G Mobil Esports

It was a wonderful day for FaZe Clan as they managed to emerge as the champion of the RLCS Winter Cup. They took down the previous champion Gen.G Mobil1 Racing in an intense grand final that ended with a score of 4:3. This is definitely a better result compared to their last Winter Open appearance where they placed at the 9th-12th place.

FaZe Clan has the Rocket League scene doubting them as they were struggling to find their footing and utilize each other in-game. In this Winter Cup, FaZe Clan appeared to have worked on their teamplay pulling off a dominating display.

Firstkiller was asked in the winner’s interview about what helped them win the qualifier. He answered “I think our teamplay. We were using each other a lot more. We weren’t just trying to subtle play all over the place. It just shows how good we are if we play as a team.”

Team Falcons takes another Winter qualifier win

The Saudi Arabian team is still the strongest team in the MENA region. They dominated the RLCS MENA Winter Cup and defeated Rule One in the grand final, not giving anyone a chance to take the crown.

Team Falcons remains in the lead in the RLCS MENA Winter Ranking. There is only one slot for the MENA region in the RLCS Winter Major. This means that unless a shock result takes place, their slot is close to guaranteed.
