Only one character remains in the Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Character Pass, and it’s Elena. She is a Capoeira dancer from Kenya, ready to unleash her mighty kicks to win many matches.

Elena was introduced to the series with Street Fighter III: New Generation. The girl grew up since then, and her modern version caused a vast spread of emotions: excitement, concern, and even criticism.

On April 10, we received another trailer for Elena in SF6. The girl looks different now.

The teaser trailer features an SF6 avatar, a guy who joins an exciting dance. Elena is somewhat distant from the main party, and it feels like she creates the vibes for everyone to enjoy — or maybe even magic illusions.

When does Elena join Street Fighter 6?

The release date for SF6 Elena is July 26, 2025.

It’s pretty interesting that Capcom releases Elena alongside SF6 on Switch 2. Street Fighter 6 is coming to the newest Nintendo console. Moreover, the DLC character and the game drops right on the Switch 2 release date — which is also June 5.
