The Reze Arc’s New Teaser Is Breathtaking

The Film Will Be Like Nothing Chainsaw Man Fans Have Seen Before

Fans ofChainsaw Man’s first season have only scratched the surface of what the series has in store, and manga readers will know that everything is about to change in the upcoming Reze Arc. The new teaser, with its eerie silence and final shots on the beach, perfectly captures the emotional turmoil that is the final act of arguablyChainsaw Man’s best arc.

It also teases the first few seconds of the film’s ending theme, “JANE DOE”, performed by Kenshi Yonezu and the legendary Hikaru Utada (best known forKingdom Hearts' “Simple and Clean”). The somber piano keys are just a hint at the tone the arc takes on following its climactic, city-destroying showdown, warning unaware fans of what’s in store.

The latest teaser is the first to feature scenes that come after the arc’s major fight, and showcases the film’s incredible visual quality even when the action takes a backseat to quieter, more intimate moments.

Chainsaw Man’s Visuals Are About to Raise the Bar

Early Previews of the Reze Arc Movie Have Been Incredibly Impressive

The one major criticismfollowingChainsaw Man’s first seasonhad to do with its visuals, mainly the art style used for the show. However, it seems any concern about the series' visual style has been put to bed. Teasers for the upcomingReze Arcmovie feature an all-new approach that remains faithful to the original manga, while showcasing a more colorful flair.

The latest teaser mainly foregoes the actionChainsaw Manis known for, and instead focuses on quieter moments that are still a feast for the eyes. The art style isreminiscent of 2024’sLook Back, another Tatsuki Fujimoto manga adaptation that went on to win awards in Japan following its theatrical run.

Chainsaw Manhas becomeone of the biggest names in the industrysince the original manga invaded the pages ofWeekly Shōnen Jump, and though the anime has covered only a fraction of the story being told, the upcoming film might just have what it takes to tackleDemon Slayerat the box office.
