If you are playingTerrariaon PC, you can active console commands at any time to make your world, or server, have different effects happen in it. While the console commands won’t allow you to spawn certain items or get unlimited health, there are still some cool uses to take advantage of.

If you want to use any of these console commands on the console versions of the game, you won’t have any luck, since they’re exclusively for PC players. But there are also ways to add additional console commands through mods while on PC if you want to get additional options outside of what is available in the base game.

How to enable console commands in Terraria

You can only use console commands while in a Multiplayer server, so make sure you are not on a single-player world to use any of the below commands. If you’re in a Multiplayer server, you can activate console commands by doing the following action:

As previously mentioned, the console commands on offer are a bit tame. They mainly affect the weather and act more like admin controls to control who is allowed to play on the server. It’s pretty basic, so if you were looking for more advanced console commands or stuff that works in single-player games, go and look for mods. There’s probably something out there that’ll be exactly what you were looking for.
