How to complete A Ship of Gold in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete A Ship of Gold, you need toventure further into Skull Rock and work on uncovering the mysteriesthat lie within. There’s a lot to this task, so here’s a full breakdown of all the steps you need to get done.
Follow the Shadow further into Skull Rock
Head through thearchwayyou unlocked during theShadows on the Wall quest, which is right by theShadow you trapped. Go up the ramps on the other side and meet up with the newly namedForgottennear the top. Talk to them once you reach their location.
Search the area for a way to continue through Skull Rock
You’re stuck again, so you need tosearch around the new areato find a way forward. Approach therockslocated on the left side of where The Forgotten is standing and use yourRoyal Pickaxeto break them.
When you break the rocks near the very edge of the small cliff you’re on, you’ll find some Pixie Dust and a Rope Wench on the ground. Pick these items up and return to The Forgotten to discuss what you found.
Follow the Pixie Dust Orb in Skull Rock
When you broke the rocks, aPixie Dust Orbgot free, and you now need tofollow the Pixie Dust Orbtopick up all the Pixie Dustit drops. Like thePixie Dust Orbsyou chased around in an earlier quest, this one moves fast and can be easy to lose sight of, so move quickly and carefully to keep up with it.
Gather the Pixie Dust
There aresix locationswhere the Pixie Dust Orb stops to drop some Pixie Dust for you to pick up. If you end up losing sight of it, here’s where to find each one.
Use the Pixie Dust to make something fly
Exit the tunnel and approach theshipon the left side of the first floor. There’s a note way up on the third level near The Forgotten that mentions sprinkling Pixie Dust on a ship, but you don’t need to actually read this message to tackle the next part of this quest.
Approach the ship by going up the pier and interact with it totransfer the Pixie Dustyou found. As soon as you do, the ship will soar up high into the air so you can progress to the next step of this quest.
Cross to the other side of Skull Rock
Make your way back up to where The Forgotten is on thethird levelof Skull Rock. Cross over the top of the flying ship as a bridge and go down the stairs to head toward the spot where The Forgotten and the Shadow are waiting for you. Chat with The Forgotten about what to do next once you cross.
Solve the Skull Rock barrel puzzle
The next step is tosolve the Skull Rock barrel puzzle, and it’s easily one of the toughest puzzles we’ve ever seen inDDV. There are six barrels, each with a unique symbol on it. You need tomatch the symbols that go togetherby rotating the correct barrels to face one another. Here’s how you do it.
Find the key to the captain’s cabin
Your next task is tofind the key to the captain’s cabin. It’s a big yellow key sitting on a circular table right behind The Forgotten, so head over to them near the ship to find it. Once you have this item, head back down into the ship to use it.
Investigate the captain’s cabin for another Rope Winch
Interact with thesparkling doornear the middle of the ship to transfer the key and open the captain’s cabin. Head inside this secret room to search for another Rope Winch, which you need to open another gate in Skull Rock. Walk over to the right corner of the room and pick up the Rope Winch from right next to the piano.
Open the second gate in Skull Rock
Exit the captain’s cabin and go back to the area above the ship where The Forgotten is awaiting. Interact with theglowing circle on the wallbehind them to transfer the Rope Winch andopen the second gatein Skull Rock. Spin the wheel once to officially unlock the gate and finish the A Ship in Gold quest. You’re now one step closer tounlocking Peter Pan.
