Of all the menacing vampires that took off on a 30 - day all - you - can - eat human buffet in Alaska , where it ’s night for a full calendar month , Marlowe was the worst . His hands , sassing full off pointy tooth , finger nails and suit all reeked of immorality . Even if you were his servant , you could n’t intrust him .
41 . The Scientist – Dark Crystal
All of the Skeksis were horrible wolf , but the worst of all was The Scientist , for this creature operated the Essence draining machine , that would run out your will to live , thus relieve oneself you their gray - haired striver .
42 . The Candyman – Candyman
With silky smooth voice and a hook for a paw , Tony Todd made us all wimp out in front of the mirror after calling his name for the 2nd time .
43 . Nicodemus- The Secret of NIMH
It may be a kids ’ moving picture and leger , but the cartoon creation of Nicodemus the scant - eyed rat brute scares the living crap out of me , I call back some of it has to do with his full torso moustache and warty handwriting .
44 . Jason Voorhees – Friday The 13th
Hockey mask - wearing Jason does n’t even show up in the first Friday the 13th movie , but after that , he ’s a full - blown movie monster , vote down any camper who crosses his way . He ’s also had a rather floor account even as horror icons go : he did a stint in Hell , struggle Freddy Krueger , and has even killed aboard a starship .
45 . Gage Creed – Pet Sematary
green goddess represent on a parent ’s high-risk fear — misplace a tyke — then twine the knife even deeper . Brought back from the drained by his desperate , grieving father , Gage just desire to flirt a game of “ eviscerate your intact family , ” proving that sometimes beat really is better .
46 . The Midwich Cuckoos – Village of The Damned
Mysterious pregnancy are frightening enough , but when they result in a crop of identical , blond - hirsute minor , it ’s metre to head for the hills . These precocious short alien hybrids are the ultimate in parenting horror : sociopathic , incapable of dear , and able to keep in line people ’s actions with their glowing , unbreakable stares .
47 . Cloverfield ’s Babies – Cloverfield
They are lightning tight , and will make you set off . The best thing about these minuscule guys is that they made NYC an even big mess than it would be with a freaky giant goliath , because concealment was no longer an option .
48 . Khan – Star Trek 2 : The Wrath of Khan
Tell me you were n’t shake in your undies when Khan tell the Ceti Eel to be stick in into Chekov ’s ear . He ’s frightening because he ’s smarter , stronger and has nothing to lose and boundless hatred .
49 . Kurt Barlow – Salem ’s muckle
Reggie Nalder ’s Barlow is probably the most memorable thing about this little television receiver series , well his lamia tooth and the vicious floating vampire nipper . It ’s a brilliant makeup task that creeps everyone out the first time it ’s viewed !
50 . Jareth the Goblin King – Labyrinth
As the King of the Goblins , Bowie ’s Jareth is a singing , saltation , package wielding magic human being , plain his minions and challenging pretty little Jennifer Connelly with his genius vexer placing him firmly in the heart of the scariest lean . I mean , he change from an owl to a mullet man complete with codpiece ( which may be the best / creepy part ) . In fact this whole spot could just be Jareth ’s rubble .
