I ’ve been looking for an excuse to apply Star Wars figures in a Gizmodo Challenge . I kinda surveil the instructions . I used a red visible radiation for a dissimilar twirl , a vindicated plastic box with a paper towel rap to the bottom . The figures inside the box were n’t giving the desired consequence so I placed them in front of it . I used tripping way to boost the shadows & put some vignetting .

The image was obtained with a Panasonic DMC - ZS9 . Postprocessing in Paint.net where it was commute to a B&W , and then the contrast was dial up to give it a contrivance and burn effect .

I know this is n’t the traditional phantasma on a rampart , but I ’ve always wanted to get around to doing this shot and it IS a shadow …
Sony A65 with a 85 mm frozen lens . This setup had a 1 second shotter , 2 speedlights , one directly overhead at 1/128 and another instantly in front of and above the camera pointed at the halo with 2 tack of colloidal gel to ping down the loudness .
