Riyadh Masters will host twenty Dota 2 teams from around the globe.

ESL Pro Tour’s 2024 Riyadh Masters is a high-profile Dota 2 tournament set to take place in Saudi Arabia this middle of the year. It is conducted as part of the Esports World Cup which will host the biggest multi-title event with more than a dozen games on board. Riyadh Masters date and venue

The 2024 Riyadh Masters will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 3 - 21. The lengthy event spans nineteen days all hosted in a LAN setting.

Riyadh Masters will have three phases. The Play-in stage occurs from July 4 -7. After a three-day rest, the Group Stage commences from July 10 - 14. Team will have two days of rest before the heated Playoffs begin, July 16 - 21.

Riyadh Masters prize pool

Dota 2’s Riyadh Masters at the Esports World Cup will offer $5 million in prize money with another $5 million allocated to the qualifiers.The total prize pool for Dota 2 sums up to $10 million. The winner of Riyadh Masters will earn $1.5 million.

Esports World Cup revealed the complete list of prize money across its various titles. Dota 2 holds the highest prize pool among other games with $10 million in total. The second-highest goes to PUBG Mobile with a total of $3.8 million.

All qualified teams

A total oftwenty teams will qualify for Riyadh Mastersand participate in the Dota 2 Esports World Cup this July. Eight teams will directly qualify via ESL Pro Tour (EPT) points and twelve will have to make it through the regional qualifiers.

How do teams qualify for Riyadh Masters?

To qualify for Riyadh Masters, Dota 2 teams must achieve a high placement in EPT events like the ESL One Birmingham and DreamLeague Season 23 in order to grab more EPT Points. The top eight on theEPT Points leaderboardwill earn a direct invite to Riyadh Masters.

Twelve more teams will qualify for Riyadh Masters through regional qualifiers. This qualifier will feature seven regions: North America (NA), South America (SA), Western Europe (WEU), Eastern Europe (EEU), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), China (CN), and Southeast Asia (SEA). Will there be a live audience?

At the time of writing, ESL has not announced anything regarding a live audience and ticket sales. However, in previous Riyadh Masters, fans were able to purchase tickets and watch the games live on the venue. We could perhaps expect the same for this iteration of the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters @ Esports World Cup.
